Brutalist Doom is the worst recipient of the Mockaward and I explain why. Now this is a wad I was planning on reviewing last week, but because of me being lazy as well as being busy with life, now I actually get to it. I knew after reading Linguica's review on it, I knew it was going to win the Mockaward regardless. This year personally, I thought they could of done without the Mockaward because there was nothing worthwhile that's actually deserving of it. The runner ups for this year are WOOO 2 and Laundry 2: Dry Hard. WOOO 2 doesn't even know what it wants to be, and Laundry Dry 2 being the most well done of these jokewads, I found the gameplay to simplistic and boring. There's no actual humor in Brutalist Doom to be found. If this wad were named something else, it wouldn't have received the Mockaward and it would of gone to something else that's actually a jokewad. Regardless if there's humor or not, it won based on the title making fun of Brutal Doom. Scuba Steve in his Mockaward review tries his very best to justify why this wad is funny when it's not.

The Omegalore cutscene alone that is there in the beta gameplay footage is funnier than Burtalist Doom and both of the runner ups combined. Unless you enjoy the Brutalist theme, then go ahead and download this wad, otherwise this get a 0/5.
